I am finding out that, in this military area, and in marrying a tolerant, open, kind retired AF man last year, that there is no issue of race in the military world. Also, there is not a cultural difference, which is sort of sad, but everyone is "the same," if there can even be such a think as "the same.
The differences in colors, in gender, it's not an "issue."
I probably need experience, and education. Instead of just fighting against the intolerance and prejudice and upbringing I experienced but, instead, rebelled against, I do want to find my own voice, my own feelings, my own beliefs, not just take on the opposite of what I learned to hate in my parents and others around me. Comments are most welcome. Help is embraced.
